Chinese FM meets ROK president's national security adviser

In Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister met with the national security advisor for the President of the Republic of Korea today. He is in China to notify his visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on March 5 and to the United States on March 8 to promote dialogue between the ROK and DPRK. The current positive situation on the Korean Peninsula meets the fundamental interests of the people in the region, the minister said. The ROK is willing to strengthen its cooperation and coordination with China, and expects that China will continue to play an active role in this regard.
