11 June 2018

U.S. and North Korean officials were in talks in Singapore on Monday (June 11) before their leaders hold an historic summit. North Korea's Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Singapore on Sunday (June 10). With gaps remaining over what denuclearisation would entail, officials from both sides were trying to push the agenda forward ahead of Tuesday's (June 12) summit.

In photographs released by Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan was seen meeting with North Korea Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho. Balakrishnan later tweeted about the meeting saying he was happy to see Ri.
