Myanmar-Japan: Japanese FM Paid Official Visit To Myanmar

Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono paid tribute to the soldiers fallen during the World War II and Japanese who stayed and died in Myanmar at Yayway Japanese Cemetery on Thursday.

He arrived at Yangon International Airport at 4.30 pm via direct flight from Japan. His visit to Myanmar is planned to meet with his counter-part as well as State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Commander in Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Thilawa Special Economic Zone today, on January 12th. Then, he will leave for Japan on January 13th.
