Peace Talk: State Counsellor Held Discussion With 8 Locals In Pakhokku

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi conducted a peace talk with local people at Chaukkan  Village of Pakhokku Township starting from 9:45 Am on August 9, 2018.

Firstly, 8 local participants in the peace talk including university students, chairperson of bus line, farmer and trader introduced themselves to the state counsellor.

First, Phyo Thiri Lwin, third year student of the institute of technology expressed her opinion on the needs in building peace. Next, U Kyaw Naing, chairperson of bus line, Yamon Phyo (first year of master degree, Pakhokku University), U Thet Khaing (farmer, Kaing Village), Zayyar Min (Second year, institute of technology), Khaing Thazin Aung (first year of master degree, Pakhokku University), U Myint Win (trader), Ei Zabai Phyo (Second Year, education collage) discussed the opinions on the peace, social, education, health matters.

Upon the discussions of the participants, the state counsellor replied and supplemented to each participant. After discussing with the participants, the State Counsellor also replied the online queries raised by the public. 

Peace Talks have been held in Panglong, WunTwin, Loikaw, MyaungMya and Mawlamyaing respectively. During the Peace Talks, the State Counsellor discussed about the peace process being implemented in the country, and also coordinated the requirements for regional development.
