People Parliament: Policy & Plans For Better Road

People’s Parliament held its regular meeting Tuesday and raised policy and plan for better road access. The Parliament kept the record of study visits and meetings.

They are: Training Course on International Relations, Governance and Public Participation in Switzerland, International Conference Improving the Foreign Policy Decision Making process: The Case of Mongolia, the Dialogue on Parliamentarians Supporting the Quiet Revolution for Better Regulatory Governance, and the small arms and light weapons' legislation workshop in Indonesia so also the Parliamentarian Workshop on International Trade 2018.

Members of the Parliament raised policy and plans for the long term and short term development and maintenance of rural roads, Myanmar National Building Code for private developers, construction of a bridge connecting KyaukTan and Dala townships, district-to-district road linking NatMauk and Yamethin, upgrading road in HteeLin,  and the cancellation of fixing floor price for contract and tender bidding in respective government departments.

The Parliament also discussed a proposal on the practice of laws and rules in the interest of the nation and the people. Regarding the Bills, the Parliament discussed draft law for Myanmar Traditional Medicine Council.
