Security forces on Wednesday afternoon cleared improvised landmines in Out Nan Yar Village area of Rakhine State, Information Committee said. The security forces of Yathedaung Township area, returning from Pauk Pin Yin ethnic Village after providing relief aid, found and cleared the 6 landmines lying beside a road near the village.
Since the August 25 attacks on over 30 police outposts by ARSA extremist terrorists, security forces, governmental staff, Rakhine, Daingnet and Mro ethnic people, members of Muslim Community and Hindus lost their lives. The attacks also forced thousands of locals to flee.
Relief assistance is being provided – security forces on Tuesday evening provided rice, dried chillies, dried fish and chicken sausage for 11 Bengali families in Ngayantchaung Bengali Village. The security forces also gave medical services.
