"Star Wars:The Last Jedi" is expected to take the top spot this weekend at the North American box office with a domestic draw through Sunday of 210 million dollars. "The Last Jedi," written and directed by Rian Johnson, sees new characters that were first introduced in 2015's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" return alongside franchise veterans, as the Resistance, fights the menacing First Order trying to control the galaxy.
Knocked off the top spot and down to third place is "Coco." "Wonder," starring Julia Roberts, is expected to come in fourth place with takings of 4.8 million dollars over the weekend. "Justice League" falls to fifth place with expected ticket sales of 3.6 million dollars.
